Botox® is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles to improve the look of moderate to severe wrinkles.
One of the most effective ways to improve your appearance to make you feel and look younger. This procedure can reduce those tell-tale lines and wrinkles that can make you appear worried, angry or stressed.
Crows feet or Laughter lines can make you look tired and troubled. However, injecting small amounts of Botulinum Toxin around the eye area can help you look fresh and youthful.
Botulinum Toxin can also be used very effectively to reduce excessive sweating in the underarm area, increasing your confidence for those important moments.

As our Skin Ages it gradually loses its major constituents: Collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid. Collagen acts as the major support protein for our skin, elastin allows our skin to stay firm and resist wrinkles and hyaluronic Acid helps to trap water and volume and shape to our skin. The loss of these constituents produces changes in our skin and together with other factors like genetics, sun exposure, alcohol and smoking increases the likelihood of our skin developing lines and wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers can be used to replace the loss of some of these elements in the skin. Dermal fillers are injected just below the skin and are being used more and more to help reverse the changes associated with aging and provide a more youthful look. Dermal fillers can be used to soften and contour lines, folds and wrinkles. Dermal fillers also mimic the hydrating and lifting effect of your skins natural hyaluronic acid which keeps the skin hydrated and elastic. This effect of the Dermal fillers in the skin helps to fill and smooth away facial lines, other skin contour deficiencies and helps replace lost volume.
The areas most commonly treated with Dermal fillers to provide a more youthful look;
• The nose to mouth lines (nasolabial fold)
• Lines around the mouth (perioral lines and oral commissure)
• Natural lip enhancement and definition of the border
Dermal filler treatment is carried out with products containing anaesthetic so you should not experience pain during the procedure. When the anaesthetic wears off however, you may experience a dull ache for the first few hours or days and you would be advised to take regular paracetamol during this period.
After the treatment the area may be red or swollen. The effects of the swelling can take up to a week to resolve although the majority should start to alleviate within a couple of days.
As we get older the lips lose volume, therefore enhancing the shape and fullness of the lips can subtly alter your appearance giving you more confidence. Lips can be simply defined or have different levels of volume enhancement.
This area is particularly prone to creasing as we get older. Softening these creases can instantly rejuvenate your appearance.

Botulinum Toxin is a type of purified protein that’s been used for over 25 years. It is very safe and is injected in tiny amounts into the facial muscles during treatment.
It softens facial wrinkles by reducing the action of the facial muscles. Botulinum Toxin blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscles that have been injected.
It is very rare for the procedure or the Botulinum Toxin to be painful. Most patients only experience a slight discomfort if at all during treatment. Rest assured we will talk you through what to expect before commencing treatment.
Following an extensive assessment, we will aim to meet your expectations being mindful not to over contour the lips.
This type of treatment may result in a little local redness which will subside after a few hours.
